His blade gene makes it tough to say with certainty if he has an allele of fire or pastel. If he's fire, then he is just het Jolliff axanthic, but if he's pastel, then he is double het Jolliff axanthic / piebald (ph clown). We're hoping as he ages the differences will be more clear, but it's possible the only solution to this mystery will be breeding! |
