He was the first in his clutch to pip and emerge from the egg. He's from a virgin pastel yellow belly het pied female (Yibhip) who locked with two high-white piebald males (Peter & Gundy); she laid 6 good eggs (0 slugs). If he was a gal, we'd keep him to figure out if his bright yellows and extra whites are genetic!! |
