Dinker - female (♀). Bongani is a really cool critter with unknown genetics. Shown here next to a true Orange Dream (OD), you can truly see she's different. She has a darker hue of orange as well as an aberrant pattern. She has a dark black dorsal stripe that drips down her sides, but patches of orange-brown blushing in the thicker lateral 'drips'. Her belly has tracks, but not like a traditional OD. She also has a brown blushing on the base of her head. She was exceptionally orange (but still several shades more red than an OD) as a hatchling, and has held on to a lot of her color as an adult.
In 2017, her first clutch hatched creating an even bigger mystery - neither hatchling looks quite like her nor like one another. We'll need some more time to sort this out!
